Ingredients

  • 700 gramos de pechuga de pavo.
  • 1 cebolla.
  • ½ litro de caldo de pollo.
  • ½ kilo de ciruelas secas remojadas.
  • 6 cucharadas de aceite de oliva.
  • Sal y pimienta a gusto.

Preparation

  • Clean and chop the turkey breast into thick fillets.
  • Brown the meat in a frying pan with a little oil, then remove.
  • Brown the onion in the same pan, pour the chicken stock and put the turkey breast back in the pan.
  • Cook over medium heat for 30 minutes, with the pan uncovered.
  • Pick up the turkey and set aside again.
  • Put half the prunes in the broth and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  • Crush this mixture in the blender and pass this sauce through a strainer. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the chopped turkey to the sauce and heat.
  • In a frying pan, place the remaining prunes with water and cook over high heat for 5 minutes.
  • Serve the turkey breast accompanied by cooked prunes and sauce.
