Prunes and walnut rum cake

200 g ciruelas secas.

200 ml de ron.

200 g de manteca.

200 g de azúcar.

3 huevos.

1 taza de harina leudante.

2 cucharadas nueces picadas.

Azúcar impalpable.
- Macerate the prunes cut into the rum.
- Then whisk the butter together with the sugar until a cream is formed.
- Add the flour and baking soda in one by one.
- Stir in chopped walnuts, drained plums and chopped.
- Pour into a buttered pan and bring to the moderate oven, about 25 to 30 minutes.
- Remove, leave to cool, unmould and sprinkle with unsurpable sugar.
